On Saturday, May 18, 2024, the IME witnessed trade of 500,000 tonnes of iron ore lumps, 230,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, 4,100 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 2,200 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol and 300 tonnes of polymeric MDI (PMDI) on its open auction trading floor.
Within the week ending on May 17, 2024, the IME witnessed trade of 3,589,000 tonnes of commodities with a total trading value of more than 891 million USD, posting growths of 13% and 36% in volume and value of trades compared to the week before that.
On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the IME witnessed trade of 100,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets and 15,900 tonnes of bitumen on its export ring.
On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor witnessed trade of 50,474 tonnes of polymeric products.
On Monday, May 13, 2024, the IME witnessed trade of 240,020 tonnes of HRC, 65,260 tonnes of steel blooms, 44,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets and 1,600 tonnes of sponge iron on its metals and minerals trading floor.
On Sunday, May 12, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,092,612 tonnes of cement.
