Secondary Market

Listings Requirements for commodities in the Secondary Market

Each commodity in order to be listed in the Secondary Market has to meet the following conditions:

o    No legal ban or restriction for trading this commodity

o    The commodity must qualify as per specifications, conditions and its quality should correspond to the specifications stated in the offering notice for the exchange and the customers

o    The seller of commodity should be able to deposit required collateral with the clearing house in order to ensure the delivery of the commodity

It should be noted that the commodity which has been listed by the seller in other markets of the IME shall not be eligible to be listed by the same seller in the Secondary Market.

The listed commodities in the Secondary Market include: non-transferrable assets, assets or commodities void of conditions of tradable commodities in the spot market.
