Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, March 10, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,054,550 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 150,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 9,476 tonnes of I-beams, 7,072 tonnes of rebars, 6,925 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 3,000 tonnes of steel blooms, 1,335 tonnes of zinc ingots, 500 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 500 tonnes of aluminum oxide.

Also, the IME sold 4,500 tonnes of sodium sulfate, 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 450 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur and 30 tonnes of precious metals concentrate on its open auction trading floor.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 10,055 tonnes of bitumen, 6,760 tonnes of polymeric products, 2,500 tonnes of lube cut, 1,530 tonnes of slack wax, 964 tonnes of chemicals, 950 tonnes of argon and 506 tonnes of paraffin wax.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 98,510 tonnes of bitumen and 20,000 tonnes of steel blooms.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 6 tonnes of tissues.
