Listings Requirements for Commodities in the Side Market

Each commodity in order to be listed in the Side Market has to meet the following conditions:

1- No legal ban or restriction for trading this commodity.

2- The commodity must qualify as per specifications, conditions and its quality should correspond to the specifications stated in the offering notice for the exchange and the customers.

3- The seller of commodity should be able to deposit required collateral with the clearing house in order to ensure the delivery of the commodity.

Note: It's worth noting that the commodity, listed by the seller in other markets of the IME, shall not be eligible to be listed by the same seller in the Side Market.

The listed commodities on the Side Market include: immovable properties, assets or commodities lacking exchange commodity standards in the physical market.
