Trade of Steel Slabs on IME

On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, the IME witnessed trade of 200,000 tonnes of steel slabs, 1,872 tonnes of styrene monomer, 900 tonnes of o-xylene, 560 tonnes of copper cathode, 320 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and 180 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) on its open auction trading floor.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 85,000 tonnes of zinc dust, 29,300 tonnes of steel blooms, 27,666 tonnes of rebars, 20,952 tonnes of I-beams, 800 tonnes of HRC, 50 tonnes of CRC and 20 tonnes of aluminum alloy ingots traded on its metals and minerals trading floor.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 16,927 tonnes of chemicals, 5,000 tonnes of lube cut, 4,605 tonnes of polymeric products, 4,330 tonnes of bitumen and 100 tonnes of argon.

Moreover, the IME sold 24,917 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

IME's agricultural trading floor was the next which saw trade of 1 tonnes of saffron.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 40,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 27,820 tonnes of bitumen, 20,000 tonnes of steel blooms and 1,700 tonnes of granular sulfur.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 202,287 auto assembly line scraps, 286 tonnes of tissues, 24 tonnes of steel belts, 14 tonnes of plastic wastes, 10 tonnes of glass wastes and 2 tonnes of copper scraps traded on it.
