According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 90,000 tonnes of steel slabs, 350 tonnes of PVC and 54 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) traded on its open auction trading floor.

There were also 236,772 tonnes of cement sold on its cement trading floor.

IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor was the next which saw trade of 32,139 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,440 tonnes of base oil, 390 tonnes of bitumen and 200 tonnes of granular sulfur.

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 94,210 tonnes of bitumen and 125 tonnes of linear alkylbenzene.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 1,275 tonnes of steel blooms, 600 tonnes of steel scraps, 100 tonnes of heavy oil and 30 tonnes of metal pipes (grade 2) traded on it.
