On Sunday, March 3, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 936,161 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 4,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 3,150 tonnes of CRC, 1,440 tonnes of zinc ingots, 300 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide, 300 tonnes of aluminum oxide and 200 tonnes of aluminum ingots traded on its metals and minerals trading floor.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 10,690 tonnes of bitumen, 7,180 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,473 tonnes of chemicals, 1,012 tonnes of paraffin wax (heavy grade), 884 tonnes of slack wax, 300 tonnes of argon and 100 tonnes of granular sulfur.

IME's open auction trading floor was the next which saw trade of 4,300 tonnes of sodium sulfate, 4,080 tonnes of copper cathode, 250 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur and 54 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI).

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 27,660 tonnes of bitumen.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 90 tonnes of glass wool, 54 tonnes of metal scraps and 10 tonnes of sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) traded on it.
