According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange traded on its metals and minerals trading floor 1,706,000 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 552 million USD.

Commodities sold on this floor included 904,186 tonnes of cement, 570,290 tonnes of steel, 147,000 tonnes of iron ore, 36,500 tonnes of zinc dust, 33,300 tonnes of sponge iron, 9,090 tonnes of copper, 8,400 tonnes of aluminum, 765 tonnes of zinc ingots, 180 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur and 21 tonnes of precious metals concentrate.

Furthermore, the IME saw on both domestic and export pits of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 399,000 tonnes of commodities worth more than 212 million USD.

The exchange customers purchased on this floor 141,548 tonnes of bitumen, 85,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 74,728 tonnes of polymeric products, 64,000 tonnes of lube cut, 17,936 tonnes of chemicals, 12,100 tonnes of sulfur, 3,717 tonnes of base oil and 50 tonnes of argon.

Based on this report, IME hosted on its agricultural trading floor, trade of 50 kg of saffron.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 9,570 tonnes of commodities traded on it.
