According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor trade of 2,469,828 tonnes of commodities and 270 vehicles valued at nearly 480 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,137,642 tonnes of cement, 779,000 tonnes of iron ore, 451,906 tonnes of steel, 81,500 tonnes of sponge iron, 9,240 tonnes of copper, 8,430 tonnes of aluminum, 1,910 tonnes of zinc, 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate and 270 vehicles.

Based on this report, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 696,443 tonnes of commodities worth more than 305 million USD.

Commodities traded on this floor included 293,843 tonnes of bitumen, 180,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 114,692 tonnes of polymeric products, 59,600 tonnes of lube cut, 34,388 tonnes of chemicals, 5,830 tonnes of oil, 5,650 tonnes of sulfur and 240 tonnes of feedstocks.

The IME also traded within the same week 19,190 tonnes of goods on its side market.
