According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor, trade of 2,338,612 tonnes of commodities and 17 vehicles valued at more than 384 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,300,208 tonnes of cement, 334,594 tonnes of steel, 587,500 tonnes of iron ore, 98,500 tonnes of sponge iron, 8,725 tonnes of copper, 7,460 tonnes of aluminum, 1,375 tonnes of zinc, 250 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate and 17 vehicles.

Moreover, the exchange saw trade of 570,288 tonnes of commodities worth almost 261 million USD on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Items traded on this floor included 156,500 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 108,772 tonnes of polymeric products, 45,762 tonnes of chemicals, 35,500 tonnes of lube cut, 4,797 tonnes of oil, 4,275 tonnes of sulfur, 460 tonnes of feedstocks and 250 tonnes of bitumen.

Last was the IME's side market on which the exchange traded 22,670 tonnes of goods.
