IME Customers Purchased Bitumen and Steel Slabs

On Saturday, February 3, 2024, the IME witnessed trade of 42,500 tonnes of bitumen and 40,000 tonnes of steel slabs on its export ring.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 157,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 45,000 tonnes of CRC for auto-makers, 10,800 tonnes of CRC for home appliance manufacturers, 8,099 tonnes of I-beams, 5,300 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets, 3,685 tonnes of steel blooms and 2,912 tonnes of rebars.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 16,000 tonnes of lube cut, 3,234 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,527 tonnes of chemicals, 1,350 tonnes of bitumen, 806 tonnes of PDA TAR and 550 tonnes of sulfur.

Moreover, the IME sold 15,875 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's open auction trading floor saw trade of 200,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, 72,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 50,000 tonnes of fine iron ore and 240 tonnes of polymeric MDI (PMDI).

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 500 tonnes of CRC scraps and 90 tonnes of glass wool.
