On Saturday, December 16, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 877,229 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 417,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 92,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 8,160 tonnes of steel blooms, 6,650 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets for auto-makers, 6,453 tonnes of rebars, 5,174 tonnes of I-beams and 1,100 tonnes of CRC for auto-makers.

IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor was the next which saw trade of 53,000 tonnes of lube cut, 8,213 tonnes of polymeric products, 2,127 tonnes of chemicals, 1,326 tonnes of slack wax, 350 tonnes of argon, 52 tonnes of PDA TAR, 50 tonnes of granular sulfur and 30 tonnes of paraffin wax.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 5,000 tonnes of aluminum ingots and 710 tonnes of bitumen.

Moreover, the IME sold 130,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, 35,700 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 15,000 tonnes of fine iron ore and 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate on its open auction trading floor.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 1,400 tonnes of DRI sludge wastes.
