According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor trade of 2,692,324 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 461 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,223,092 tonnes of cement, 902,500 tonnes of iron ore, 414,857 tonnes of steel, 114,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 15,000 tonnes of cast iron, 11,589 tonnes of copper, 9,200 tonnes of aluminum, 1,865 tonnes of zinc, 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate and 21 tonnes of precious metals concentrate.

Based on this report, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 466,163 tonnes of commodities worth nearly 226 million USD.

Commodities traded on this floor included 162,325 tonnes of bitumen, 115,067 tonnes of polymeric products, 104,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 33,087 tonnes of chemicals, 20,000 tonnes of sulfur, 18,000 tonnes of lube cut, 4,865 tonnes of oil and 350 tonnes of feedstocks.

The IME also traded within the same week 18,908 tonnes of goods on its side market.
