IME Customers Purchased Rebars

On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, the IME witnessed trade of 71,529 tonnes of rebars on its metals and minerals trading floor.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on the same floor 50,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 13,427 tonnes of I-beams, 2,560 tonnes of U-channels, 2,176 tonnes of angle bars, 1,500 tonnes of HRC and 400 tonnes of CRC.

Based on this report, the IME saw trade of 17,143 tonnes of chemicals, 2,571 tonnes of polymeric products, 104 tonnes of base oil and 50 tonnes of bitumen on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Moreover, the IME sold 28,725 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

IME's open auction trading floor was the next which saw trade of 4,488 tonnes of styrene monomer, 1,331 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol, 600 tonnes of o-xylene, 550 tonnes of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) and 340 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI).

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 31,880 tonnes of bitumen.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 479 auto-assembly line scraps, 120 tonnes of metal pipes (grade 2), 72 tonnes of steel belts and 50 tonnes of iron tripetalous traded on it.
