On Sunday, January 21, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 945,957 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 6,750 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 5,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 5,000 tonnes of low-grade copper, 1,840 tonnes of zinc ingots, 1,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 275 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 100 tonnes of CRC.

Furthermore, the IME saw trade of 9,862 tonnes of chemicals and polymeric products on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Based on this report, IME's open auction trading floor saw trade of 4,040 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur.

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 50,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 45,280 tonnes of bitumen and 1,000 tonnes of mixed rebars.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 17,000 liters of used locomotive oil and 30 tonnes of glass wool traded on it.
