IME Customers Purchased Polymeric Products and Chemicals

On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor witnessed trade of 22,330 tonnes of polymeric products and chemicals.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 32,990 tonnes  of rebars, 10,098 tonnes of I-beams, 2,375 tonnes of U-channels, 1,896 tonnes of angle bars and 1,700 tonnes of HRC.

There were also 28,504 tonnes of cement sold in matching trading system.

Based on this report, IME's open auction trading floor saw trade of 4,200 tonnes of styrene monomer, 1,747 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol, 600 tonnes of o-xylene, 539 tonnes of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) and 320 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI).

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 22,976 tonnes of bitumen, 10,000 tonnes of granular sulfur, 5,000 tonnes of aluminum ingots and 2,000 tonnes of mixed rebars.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 19,500 liters of used locomotive oil, 1,808 recyclable car accessories, 121 tonnes of copper sheets and strips, 78 rubber wastes, 47 tonnes of metal pipes (grade 2) and 8 tonnes of steel scraps traded on it.
