Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, February 18, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,071,650 tonnes of cement.
Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 3,500 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 2,200 tonnes of low-grade copper, 1,375 tonnes of zinc ingots, 500 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 275 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 100 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 100 tonnes of alloy rebars.

Also, the IME sold 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate, 2,200 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol and 250 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur.

Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trade of 5,683 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,635 tonnes of chemicals, 1,285 tonnes of slack wax, 500 tonnes of bitumen, 460 tonnes of argon, 150 tonnes of granular sulfur and 100 tonnes of paraffin wax.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 3,000 tonnes of linear alkylbenzene, 2,000 tonnes of granular sulfur and 1,300 tonnes of bitumen.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 930 tonnes of tissues, 400 empty drums, 30 tonnes of glass wool and 19 tonnes of metal scraps.
