On Sunday, January 7, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 990,849 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 14,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 5,300 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 5,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 1,855 tonnes of zinc ingots, 1,500 tonnes of low-grade copper, 475 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide, 500 tonnes of aluminum oxide and 75 tonnes of rebars traded on its metals and minerals trading floor.

Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trade of 18,000 tonnes of lube cut, 5,329 tonnes of polymeric products, 3,300 tonnes of bitumen, 1,232 tonnes of slack wax, 750 tonnes of argon, 600 tonnes of granular sulfur, 115 tonnes of base oil and 70 tonnes of paraffin wax.

It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 73,746 tonnes of bitumen and 10,000 tonnes of steel blooms.

Moreover, the IME sold 86,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur on its open auction trading floor.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 10,000 tonnes of DRI sludge wastes, 2,000 tonnes of mill scale scraps and 500 tonnes of tissues traded on it.
