According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor, trade of 2,642,605 tonnes of commodities and 20 vehicles valued at more than 784 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,203,325 tonnes of cement, 805,059 tonnes of steel, 458,000 tonnes of iron ore, 74,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 11,575 tonnes of aluminum, 7,938 tonnes of copper, 1,440 tonnes of zinc, 250 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, 18 tonnes of precious metals concentrate and 20 vehicles.

Based on this report, the IME saw trade of 1.9 tonnes of saffron on its agricultural trading floor.

Moreover, the exchange saw trade of 553,282 tonnes of commodities worth more than 257 million USD on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Items traded on this floor included 197,809 tonnes of bitumen, 144,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 121,363 tonnes of polymeric products, 46,019 tonnes of chemicals, 21,700 tonnes of lube cut, 17,400 tonnes of sulfur, 4,690 tonnes of oil and 300 tonnes of feedstocks.

Last was the IME's side market on which the exchange traded 9,762 tonnes of goods.
