IME Customers Purchased Saffron

On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, the IME witnessed trade of 1.9 tonnes of saffron on its agricultural trading floor.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 80,052 tonnes of rebars, 60,060 tonnes of HRC, 30,030 tonnes of HRC for auto-makers, 14,099 tonnes of I-beams, 80 tonnes of aluminum alloy ingots and 3 tonnes of copper billets traded on its metals and minerals trading floor.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 22,047 tonnes of chemicals and 5,552 tonnes of polymeric products.

Moreover, the IME sold 33,354 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 20,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 18,175 tonnes of bitumen and 8,000 tonnes of granular sulfur.

There were also 2,802 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol, 1,100 tonnes of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM), 936 tonnes of styrene monomer, 900 tonnes of o-xylene, 320 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and 252 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) sold on its open auction trading floor.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 101,417 recyclable car accessories, 5,000 auto assembly line scraps, 150 tonnes of metal scraps, 80 tonnes of metal pipes (grade 2), 75 tonnes of glass wool and 57 tonnes of steel scraps.
