According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor trade of 2,427,313 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 542 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,139,713 tonnes of cement, 562,000 tonnes of iron ore, 554,505 tonnes of steel, 157,500 tonnes of sponge iron, 11,015 tonnes of aluminum, 7,403 tonnes of copper, 1,330 tonnes of zinc and 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate.

Furthermore, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 392,748 tonnes of commodities worth more than 186 million USD.

Commodities traded on this floor included 106,365 tonnes of bitumen, 95,919 tonnes of polymeric products, 94,290 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 53,500 tonnes of lube cut, 28,532 tonnes of chemicals, 10,410 tonnes of sulfur, 3,583 tonnes of oil, 802 tonnes of petroleum products and 350 tonnes of feedstocks.

The IME also traded within the same week 11,987 tonnes of goods on its side market.
