On Sunday, December 24, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 936,112 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 32,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 7,500 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 6,200 tonnes of steel blooms, 4,900 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 2,150 tonnes of zinc ingots, 1,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 700 tonnes of low-grade copper and 175 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide.

Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trade of 28,000 tonnes of lube cut, 4,826 tonnes of polymeric products, 2,028 tonnes of PDA TAR, 1,729 tonnes of chemicals, 1,500 tonnes of granular sulfur, 986 tonnes of slack wax, 410 tonnes of argon, 80 tonnes of paraffin wax, 52 tonnes of base oil and 25 tonnes of bitumen.

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade 45,000 tonnes of steel blooms and 39,450 tonnes of bitumen.

Based on this report, IME's open auction trading floor saw trade of 18,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 1,010 tonnes of tissues and 25 tonnes of metal scraps (wagon) traded on it.
