According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor, trade of 2,247,716 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 301 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,261,286 tonnes of cement, 413,000 tonnes of iron ore, 388,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 180,155 tonnes of steel, 4,975 tonnes of aluminum and 300 tonnes of zinc.

Moreover, the exchange saw trade of 446,373 tonnes of commodities worth almost 198 million USD on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Items traded on this floor included 184,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 104,904 tonnes of bitumen, 85,210 tonnes of polymeric products, 39,000 tonnes of lube cut, 23,574 tonnes of chemicals, 5,200 tonnes of sulfur, 4,214 tonnes of oil and 270 tonnes of feedstocks.

Last was the IME's side market on which the exchange traded 496 tonnes of goods.
