Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, April 14, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 963,268 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 22,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 5,325 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 1,100 tonnes of zinc ingots, 500 tonnes of low-grade copper, 500 tonnes of aluminum oxide and 325 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide.

IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor was the next which saw trade of 5,617 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,119 tonnes of chemicals, 828 tonnes of paraffin wax, 470 tonnes of argon, 338 tonnes of slack wax and 50 tonnes of granular sulfur.

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 45,000 tonnes of steel blooms and 27,565 tonnes of bitumen.

Last but not least was the IME's open auction trading floor with 3,820 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur traded on it.
