According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 407,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 99,600 tonnes of sponge iron, 15,000 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets for auto-makers, 4,990 tonnes of I-beams, 4,322 tonnes of rebars, 1,850 tonnes of metallurgical coke, 1,000 tonnes of steel blooms and 450 tonnes of CRS for auto-makers.
Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 19,967 tonnes of polymeric products, 15,000 tonnes of lube cut (heavy grade), 8,184 tonnes of chemicals, 750 tonnes of granular sulfur and 210 tonnes of argon.
It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 2,000 tonnes of bitumen and 10,000 tonnes of sulfur.
In addition to that, the IME sold 320,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, 250,000 tonnes of fine iron ore, 100,000 tonnes of iron ore lumps, 30,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom and 442 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) on its open auction trading floor.
Last was the IME's side market trading floor which saw trade of 40,000 tonnes of pellet fine & DRI sludge wastes, 2,929 tonnes of coil rebars, 1,850 tonnes of alloy steel ingots, 1,034 tonnes of rebars (made of alloy steel), 550 tonnes of bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry), 100 tonnes of bitumen enamel pipe coating and 40 tonnes of monochloroacetic acid (MCA).
