According to a report by the IME's international affair and PR, the exchange sold on the same floor 10,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 4,000 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets, 300 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 200 tonnes of zinc ingots and 50 tonnes of copper cathodes.

Next trading floor was the oil and petrochemical with 22,298 tonnes of polymeric products, 20,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 2,990 tonnes of base oil and 536 tonnes of bitumen trade on it.

Furthermore, the IME's cement trading floor saw trade of 46,890 tonnes of cement on the same day.

It's worth noting that the IME's export pit also played host to trading of 22,750 tonnes of bitumen and 68 tonnes of insulation.

Last but not least was the IME's side market on which customers purchased 620 tonnes of polyester staple fibers, 130 tonnes of carbon black, 198 tonnes of anhydride phthalic and 30 tonnes of glass wool.
