According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 135,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 2,944 tonnes of I-beams, 1,350 tonnes of metallurgical coke, 958 tonnes of rebars, 800 tonnes of CRS (for auto-makers & home appliance manufacturers) and 600 tonnes of steel blooms traded on the same floor.
Based on this report, the exchange saw trade of 58,000 tonnes of lube cut (heavy & light grades), 4,780 tonnes of polymeric products, 3,544 tonnes of chemicals, 3,042 tonnes of PDA TAR, 1,105 tonnes of granular sulfur and 50 tonnes of bitumen on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.
Moreover, the IME sold 9,085 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.
IME's open auction trading floor was the next which saw trade of 190,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, 70,000 tonnes of fine iron ore, 31,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 260 tonnes of polymeric MDI (PMDI) and 72 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI).
It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 72,685 tonnes of bitumen, 5,000 tonnes of granular sulfur and 300 tonnes of linear alkylbenzene.
Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 4,200 tonnes of alloy steel ingots, 2,250 tonnes of rebars (made of alloy steel), 860 tonnes of coil rebars and 785 tonnes of tissues.
