IME Customers Purchased Rebars

On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, the IME's metals and minerals trading floor witnessed trade of 36,288 tonnes of rebars.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on the same floor 3,000 tonnes of steel blooms, 8,315 tonnes of I-beams, 5,000 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets, 1,592 tonnes of angle bars, 350 tonnes of tinplate sheets, 1,844 tonnes of U-channel, 1,675 tonnes of coil copper and 75 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide.

Also, the exchange traded 61,532 tonnes of polymeric products, 8,176 tonnes of chemicals and 26 tonnes of PDA TAR on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

In addition to that, the IME sold 15,450 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

Based on this report, the exchange saw trade of 5,448 tonnes of styrene monomer, 1,430 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol, 340 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI), 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur and 144 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) on its open auction trading floor.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 8,390 tonnes of bitumen and 3,000 tonnes of PVC.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 720 tonnes of glass wool traded on it.
