According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its oil and petrochemical trading floor 7,115 tonnes of chemicals, 1,770 tonnes of polymeric products and 76 tonnes of base oil.

In addition to that, the IME sold 1,445 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

Based on this report, the exchange saw trade of 4,944 tonnes of styrene monomer, 897 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol, 550 tonnes of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM), 320 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and 144 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) on its open auction trading floor.

It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 43,115 tonnes of bitumen and 4,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 5,000 auto-assembly line scraps traded on it.
