According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor, trade of 9,548,604 tonnes of commodities and 81 vehicles valued at more than 1.6 billion USD.

On this floor the IME sold 4,926,643 tonnes of cement, 2,350,000 tonnes of iron ore, 1,417,048 tonnes of steel, 886,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 85,575 tonnes of aluminum, 47,680 tonnes of zinc, 22,454 tonnes of copper, 1,450 tonnes of cast iron, 1,000 tonnes of coke, 670 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate and 45 tonnes of precious metals concentrate.

It's worth noting that the IME also traded 1,530 kg of saffron on its agricultural trading floor.

Furthermore, the exchange saw trade of 2,189,032 tonnes of commodities worth more than 1 billion USD on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Items traded on this floor included 718,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 693,759 tonnes of bitumen, 387,774 tonnes of polymeric products, 167,868 tonnes of chemicals, 149,800 tonnes of lube cut, 35,560 tonnes of sulfur, 20,609 tonnes of oil, 14,812 tonnes of petroleum products, 1,980 tonnes of feedstocks, 1,500 tonnes of slop wax and 1,030 tonnes of waterproofing materials.

Last was the IME's side market on which the exchange traded 170,109 tonnes of goods.
