Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, June 11, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,031,812 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 8,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 1,500 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 6,650 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 1,000 tonnes of low-grade copper, 425 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 1,580 tonnes of zinc ingots.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 3,160 tonnes of chemicals, 3,910 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,329 tonnes of slack wax, 275 tonnes of bitumen, 180 tonnes of argon, 100 tonnes of paraffin wax (heavy grade) and 26 tonnes of base oil.

In addition to that, the IME sold 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur and 75 tonnes of precious metals concentrate on its open auction trading floor.

It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 31,215 tonnes of bitumen, 2,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 100 tonnes of heavy alkylbenzene and 70 tonnes of insulation.

Last was the IME's side market trading floor which saw trade of 2,825 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 600 tonnes of tissues, 300 tonnes of bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry) and 5 tonnes of monochloroacetic acid (MCA).
