According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor trade of 1,627,304 tonnes of commodities valued at nearly 303 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,183,066 tonnes of cement, 257,068 tonnes of steel, 176,500 tonnes of sponge iron, 40,190 tonnes of zinc, 6,440 tonnes of aluminum, 6,045 tonnes of copper and 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate.

Based on this report, the exchange saw trade of 400 kg of saffron on its agricultural trading floor.

Furthermore, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 370,467 tonnes of commodities worth more than 150 million USD.

Commodities traded on this floor included 131,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 108,200 tonnes of bitumen, 55,443 tonnes of polymeric products, 48,000 tonnes of lube cut, 18,199 tonnes of chemicals, 7,875 tonnes of sulfur, 919 tonnes of oil, 650 tonnes of petroleum products, 460 tonnes of insulation and 420 tonnes of feedstocks.

The IME also traded within the same week 47,364 tonnes of commodities on its side market.
