According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 20,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 5,650 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 1,190 tonnes of zinc ingots, 700 tonnes of low-grade copper and 125 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide.

Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trade of 40,017 tonnes of chemicals and polymeric products.

Based on this report, IME's open auction trading floor saw trade of 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur.

It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 8,340 tonnes of bitumen, 312 tonnes of slack wax (heavy & light grades) and 200 tonnes of insulation.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 145,328 auto-assembly line scraps, 650 tonnes of bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry), 400 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 200 tonnes of sponge iron fine wastes and 100 tonnes of molybdenum oxide traded on it.
