On Monday, April 3, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 974,152 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 331,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 134,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 2,412 tonnes of rebars, 3,703 tonnes of I-beams and 1,000 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets traded on its metals and minerals trading floor.

In addition to that, the IME sold 320,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, 300,000 tonnes of iron ore lumps, 7,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 300 tonnes of polymeric MDI (PMDI) and 54 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) on its open auction trading floor.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 24,852 tonnes of chemicals, 2,002 tonnes of base oil, 1,392 tonnes of polymeric products, 767 tonnes of slack wax, 260 tonnes of argon, 200 tonnes of sulfur lumps and 104 tonnes of PDA TAR.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 7,100 tonnes of bitumen and 6,000 tonnes of sulfur lumps.

Last was the IME's side market trading floor which saw trade of 4,664 tonnes of coil rebars and 22 tonnes of rebars (made of alloy steel).
