Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, November 26, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,018,868 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 5,250 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 1,800 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 1,500 tonnes of low-grade copper and 100 tonnes of lead ingots.

Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trade of 10,000 tonnes of lube cut (heavy grade), 3,886 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,512 tonnes of slack wax, 1,227 tonnes of chemicals, 674 tonnes of bitumen, 430 tonnes of argon, 416 tonnes of PDA TAR, 262 tonnes of base oil and 60 tonnes of paraffin wax.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 50,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI) and 230 tonnes of bitumen.

Moreover, the IME sold 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate, 1,644 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur on its open auction trading floor.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 65 tonnes of different type of scraps (aluminum, wagon and glass).
