According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor trade of 2,217,411 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 390 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,284,994 tonnes of cement, 397,000 tonnes of iron ore, 365,147 tonnes of steel, 171,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 9,400 tonnes of zinc, 6,775 tonnes of copper, 6,545 tonnes of aluminum, 500 tonnes of coke, 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate and 125 tonnes of lead.

Based on this report, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 406,916 tonnes of commodities worth more than 206 million USD.

Commodities traded on this floor included 160,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 95,276 tonnes of polymeric products, 95,503 tonnes of bitumen, 36,536 tonnes of chemicals, 14,000 tonnes of lube cut, 6,028 tonnes of oil, 850 tonnes of sulfur, 802 tonnes of petroleum products, 350 tonnes of waterproofing materials and 270 tonnes of feedstocks.

The IME also traded within the same week 74,341 tonnes of goods on its side market.
