Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, September 17, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,044,045 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 327,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 139,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 7,147 tonnes of rebars, 4,669 tonnes of I-beams and 740 tonnes of steel blooms.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 8,416 tonnes of polymeric products, 3,349 tonnes of chemicals, 1,542 tonnes of slack wax, 680 tonnes of argon, 104 tonnes of PDA TAR, 100 tonnes of bitumen, 100 tonnes of paraffin wax and 60 tonnes of granular sulfur.

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 40,230 tonnes of bitumen and 5,000 tonnes of granular sulfur.

Moreover, the IME sold 165,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, 20,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 330 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) on its open auction trading floor.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 465 tonnes of glass wool traded on it.
