On Sunday, September 3, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,040,368 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 21,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 17,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, 3,775 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 1,200 tonnes of low-grade copper, 1,145 tonnes of zinc ingots, 200 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 22 tonnes of rebars.

Based on this report, the exchange saw trade of 12,000 tonnes of bitumen, 5,513 tonnes of polymeric products, 2,500 tonnes of sulfur lumps, 1,704 tonnes of slack wax, 682 tonnes of chemicals, 350 tonnes of argon and 70 tonnes of paraffin wax on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 4,500 tonnes of bitumen.

Next was the IME's open auction trading floor with trade of 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 750 tonnes of bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry) traded on it.
