On Sunday, July 23, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 958,033 tonnes of cement.
Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 430,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 10,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 4,925 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 1,295 tonnes of zinc ingots, 1,000 tonnes of low-grade copper and 275 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide.

Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trade of 4,997 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,678 tonnes of slack wax, 1,182 tonnes of chemicals and 470 tonnes of argon.

Moreover, the IME sold 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 250 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur on its open auction trading floor.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 32,686 tonnes of bitumen.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 266,823 auto-assembly line scraps, 640 tonnes of bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry), 300 tonnes of polyethylene wax, 100 tonnes of aluminum oxide and 60 tonnes of molybdenum oxide traded on it.
