IME Customers Purchased Bitumen

On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, the IME's export ring witnessed trade of 44,937 tonnes of bitumen and 5,000 tonnes of granular sulfur.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 391,286 tonnes of HRC, CRC (for auto-makers and home appliance manufacturers), rebars, I-beams, coke, angle bars and U-channels traded on its metals and minerals trading floor.

Based on this report, the exchange saw trade of 72,257 tonnes of chemicals and polymeric products on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Moreover, the IME sold 15,181 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

IME's open auction trading floor was the next which saw trade of 8,100 tonnes of steel slabs, 4,008 tonnes of styrene monomer, 1,154 tonnes of 2-ethylhexanol, 900 tonnes of o-xylene, 451 tonnes of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM), 340 tonnes of toluene diisocyanate (TDI), 198 tonnes of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) and 45 tonnes of precious metals concentrate.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 1,137 tonnes of different type of scraps (auto assembly line, steel and plastic barrel), printing & writing papers, metal pipes (grade 2) and copper pipes.
