According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor trade of 2,723,436 tonnes of commodities worth nearly 351 million USD.
On this floor the IME sold 1,278,329 tonnes of cement, 1,093,000 tonnes of iron ore, 238,886 tonnes of steel, 101,600 tonnes of sponge iron, 6,525 tonnes of aluminum, 5,100 tonnes of copper, 1,850 tonnes of coke, 1,040 tonnes of zinc and 190 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate.

Furthermore, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 250,095 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 128 million USD.
Commodities traded on this floor included 94,487 tonnes of polymeric products, 57,554 tonnes of bitumen, 38,700 tonnes of chemicals, 30,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 15,000 tonnes of lube cut, 10,950 tonnes of sulfur, 4,249 tonnes of base oil, 754 tonnes of petroleum products and 290 tonnes of feedstocks.
The IME also traded within the same week 48,415 tonnes of commodities on its side market.
