According to a report by the IME's international affairs and PR, the exchange sold on the same floor 18,000 tonnes of lube cut, 10,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 173 tonnes of bitumen and 49 tonnes of base oil.

It's worth noting that the IME's export pit also played host to trading of 10,934 tonnes of bitumen.

On its metals and minerals trading floor, the IME witnessed trade of 58,000 tonnes of slabs, 41,260 tonnes of steel blooms, 30,000 tonnes of steel sheets, 10,000 tonnes of cast iron ingots, 8,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 280 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur, 21 tonnes of precious metals concentrate and 4 kg of gold bars.

Last but not least was the IME's side market on which customers purchased 6,511 tonnes of steel blooms, carbon black, steel scraps, battery scraps, carton scraps, tissues, pallet boards and auto body scraps.
