On Sunday, April 21, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,054,897 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 44,600 tonnes of sponge iron, 10,000 tonnes of steel blooms, 5,400 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 1,200 tonnes of low-grade copper, 1,122 tonnes of rebars, 1,185 tonnes of zinc ingots, 1,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide and 425 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide.

Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trade of 12,500 tonnes of lube cut, 6,319 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,577 tonnes of chemicals, 1,292 tonnes of slack wax, 1,076 tonnes of bitumen, 828 tonnes of paraffin wax, 570 tonnes of argon and 400 tonnes of granular sulfur.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 40,000 tonnes of steel blooms and 5,000 tonnes of bitumen.

There were also 90,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur sold on its open auction trading floor.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 90 tonnes of sodium lauryl ether sulfate and 25 tonnes of metal pipes (grade 2).
