According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor, trade of 2,554,052 tonnes of commodities valued at nearly 538 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,308,024 tonnes of cement, 689,500 tonnes of iron ore, 364,216 tonnes of steel, 165,600 tonnes of sponge iron, 13,045 tonnes of copper, 11,865 tonnes of aluminum, 1,590 tonnes of zinc, 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate and 12 tonnes of precious metals concentrate.

Furthermore, the exchange saw trade of 539,256 tonnes of commodities worth more than 247 million USD on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Items traded on this floor included 194,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 149,160 tonnes of bitumen, 95,376 tonnes of polymeric products, 47,172 tonnes of chemicals, 43,000 tonnes of lube cut, 5,370 tonnes of sulfur, 4,647 tonnes of oil and 430 tonnes of feedstocks.

Last was the IME's side market on which the exchange traded 5,486 tonnes of goods.
