Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, December 10, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,037,903 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 5,950 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 2,001 tonnes of coil rebars, 2,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 1,075 tonnes of zinc ingots, 1,000 tonnes of low-grade copper, 1,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide and 275 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide.

Next was the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor with trade of 30,000 tonnes of lube cut, 4,782 tonnes of polymeric products, 3,700 tonnes of bitumen, 2,915 tonnes of chemicals, 1,618 tonnes of slack wax, 700 tonnes of sulfur and 625 tonnes of argon.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 20,000 tonnes of steel blooms and 11,000 tonnes of bitumen.

Moreover, the IME sold 100,250 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur on its open auction trading floor.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 405 tonnes of glass wool, 750 tonnes of bituminous anode (used in aluminum reduction industry) and 10 kg of silver balls.
