According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor, trade of 1,829,586 tonnes of commodities valued at nearly 251 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,089,356 tonnes of cement, 310,000 tonnes of iron ore, 213,680 tonnes of steel, 211,000 tonnes of sponge iron and 5,550 tonnes of aluminum.

Moreover, the exchange saw trade of 421,768 tonnes of commodities worth more than 209 million USD on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Items traded on this floor included 118,699 tonnes of bitumen, 107,100 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 94,881 tonnes of polymeric products, 33,084 tonnes of chemicals, 3,314 tonnes of oil, 640 tonnes of lube cut, 350 tonnes of sulfur and 340 tonnes of feedstocks.

Last was the IME's side market on which the exchange traded 830 tonnes of goods.
