Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, June 18, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,059,655 tonnes of cement.
Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 35,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 5,300 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 25 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide and 70 trucks.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 13,680 tonnes of chemicals, 4,875 tonnes of polymeric products, 850 tonnes of slack wax (heavy grade), 270 tonnes of argon, 100 tonnes of granular sulfur, 100 tonnes of paraffin wax (heavy grade) and 50 tonnes of bitumen.

In addition to that, the IME sold 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur on its open auction trading floor.

It's worth noting that the IME's export ring played host to trade of 40,000 tonnes of steel slabs, 13,800 tonnes of bitumen and 200 tonnes of insulation.

Last was the IME's side market trading floor which saw trade of 1,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 650 tonnes of bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry), 500 tonnes of steel scraps and 100 tonnes of phosphoric acid.
