According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor trade of 2,088,357 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 308 million USD.

On this floor the IME sold 1,256,485 tonnes of cement, 443,000 tonnes of iron ore, 266,323 tonnes of steel, 108,500 tonnes of sponge iron, 7,065 tonnes of copper, 5,585 tonnes of aluminum, 890 tonnes of zinc, 500 tonnes of cast iron and 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's agricultural trading floor saw trade of 100 kg of saffron.

Moreover, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 485,640 tonnes of commodities worth more than 247 million USD.

Commodities traded on this floor included 174,678 tonnes of bitumen, 113,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 95,211 tonnes of polymeric products, 61,500 tonnes of lube cut, 37,282 tonnes of chemicals, 3,220 tonnes of sulfur, 504 tonnes of oil, 480 tonnes of petroleum products and 370 tonnes of feedstocks.

The IME also traded within the same week 4,418 tonnes of goods on its side market.
