On Sunday, November 19, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,096,367 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 8,000 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 5,900 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 1,300 tonnes of low-grade copper, 1,050 tonnes of CRC, 695 tonnes of rebars, 510 tonnes of zinc ingots and 150 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide.

Based on this report, the exchange saw trade of 3,958 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,887 tonnes of slack wax, 1,725 tonnes of bitumen, 999 tonnes of chemicals, 300 tonnes of argon and 46 tonnes of base oil on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 25,550 tonnes of bitumen and 100 tonnes of granular sulfur.

There were also 4,000 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 200 tonnes of molybdenum-sulfur sold on its open auction trading floor.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 750 tonnes of bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry) traded on it.
