Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Saturday, October 8, 2023, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,006,253 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 20,000 tonnes of hot briqutted sponge iron (HBSI), 15,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 10,700 tonnes of rebars, 4,800 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 2,700 tonnes of low-grade copper and 1,185 tonnes of zinc ingots.

Moreover, the IME sold 1,750 tonnes of bitumen, 1,451 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,200 tonnes of granular sulfur, 790 tonnes of chemicals, 598 tonnes of slack wax and 190 tonnes of argon on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 26,868 tonnes of bitumen.

Last was the IME's open auction trading floor which saw trade of 4,040 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate and 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur.
